Winter Martial Arts Workout

COST: $20 per Student
TIME: 11:00 TO 4:00pm
This seminar is open to all martial art students regardless of Rank. Ages 12 and up are welcome to attend. There will be 5 instructors teaching from Northeast Wisconsin. This seminar is designed for instructors to teach and show their art and students to learn something new and have some fun.
What you need: Bring water or sport drink, energy bars or healthy snack, there will be short breaks, but No Lunch break. Bring training sticks, knifes if you have them, there will be some available to borrow.
Uniforms are not required, but if you want to wear you school uniform that is fine.
Sensei Herb Blue:
has been involved in Martial arts for over 25 years. Most of his training was on the West Coast, but he moved to the Green Bay area a few years ago. He has a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Modern Arnis a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Wado Kai and a 2nd Degree Black belt in Wu Ying Tao. He is former President of the Modern Arnis Northern California Division.
Master Dennis Dufek:
Master Dufek started his martial art training in 1967 with with Master James B.C. Yu. He currently holds the rank of 5th Dan in Hapki do & Ji Do Kwan Tae Kwon Do. He was a police officer for 30 years which gave him many opportunities to use his Martial arts. Helping Master Dufek is his chief instructor Doug Menard. Mr. Menard has been in the Martial arts over 25 years and has been teaching with Master Dufek in the Escanaba Michigan area for several years.
Master Thomas Swartwood
Mr. Swartwood has over 35 years in the martial arts. He is a certified 7th Degree Black Belt in Hapkido. He is also a master instructor in Mehan Hapkido. He also has a black belt in Tae Kwon do. He been teaching Defensive Tactics for years. In 2005 Mr. Swartwood was inducted in the Inaugural class of the Budo hall of Fame as Hapkido instructor of the year. Master Swartwood and his wife Sandra have a martial art school in Oshkosh, where they both teach.
Guro Jeremy Derenne:
Mr. Derenne has been training in the martial arts for 22 years, he holds a 4th Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon do, he is a La Hong Guro in the Filipino art of Eskrima under Suro Jason Inay. He also holds the rank of 4th Degree Black Belt in Danzan Ryu Ju Jitsu under Shihan Russ Rhodes. He has been training in Tai chi and Wing Chung under Sifu David Leung from Eugene Oregon.
Master Kevin Schoenebeck:
Master Schoenebeck has be training in martial arts for 40 years, he holds a 8th Degree Black Belt in Taekwon do. He has been training and teaching Inayan Eskrima for 24 years and hold the rank of Masirib Guro, under Suro Jason Inay. Mr. Schoenebeck holds a Blue Belt in Brazilian Jui Jitsu under Jacere Calvintini. He currently trains in Danzan Ryu Ju Jitsu under Shihan Russ Rhodes and holds a rank of 4th Degree Black Belt. Mr. Schoenebeck has been training with Sifu David Leung in Yang and Chen style Tai chi for 10 years.
